Join us for an afternoon and evening of literary conversation with celebrated Sudanese novelist Abdelaziz Baraka Sakin, in a special Book Talk that brings readers into the ideas, themes, and human questions that animate his work. Across two sessions, we will explore his writing through guided discussion, reflection, and audience engagement, creating a space for thoughtful dialogue and cultural exchange.

The programme features an English conversation around the novel “Samahan”, followed by an Arabic discussion of the new novel “Al Aththous”. The sessions are hosted by Sara Malout and Beneika Ofrik (English), and feature an in conversation format with writer and media professional Othman Omar (Othman Tarat), with presentation by renowned journalist Mohamed Al Asbat (Arabic).
